She brings more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership to her role as Co-Director of the Care Farming Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout her career, Kate has guided organizations through  change and growth, with expertise spanning rural entrepreneurship, hunger relief, animal welfare, recycling, and community development. She has led initiatives supporting local food systems and regional agriculture, served in executive leadership roles within community-based and animal welfare organizations, and earlier in her career directed large-scale food rescue operations that helped build one of the nation\u2019s largest food recovery programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A creative at heart, Kate worked many years as a professional baker and continues to spend her free time concocting baked goods and testing out new recipes.
