She went on to serve in several key roles\u2014including Volunteer Coordinator and Program Manager\u2014before stepping into the Executive Director position. Between her early years at Red Wiggler and her return to leadership, Kara led member operations at Cleo, a family benefits startup, where she deepened her expertise in organizational systems, user-centered design, and team building. She brings a strong commitment to neurodiversity, sustainable agriculture, and community-driven work as she guides Red Wiggler into its next chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kara loves to garden, knit, sew, hike, and play make believe with her 3-year-old. She is a loss mom and hopes to someday start a care farm for other grieving parents.
