Potluck at the Farm

This Saturday, October 3rd at 12 noon we will be hosting a potluck lunch at the Acadia Community Farm. This event is open to both the public, and Acadia students, and we hope to attract new faces to enjoy time sharing food and stories. We encourage people to prepare a dish using locally sourced products wherever possible. We will have dishes and cutlery for those who can not provide their own, but we would encourage attendees to bring their own dishware if possible. After lunch, people are welcomed to help out at the farm where lots is still needed to be done in preparation for winter.

I look forward to seeing you all there!

About

The Acadia Community Farm began in the spring of 2008 with the vision of providing local, organic produce to the dining hall at Acadia University, while also serving as a community garden. The Farm has grown to become an educational community centre for the exchange of knowledge surrounding gardening, food, and sustainable agriculture.
